Animal Reports

Students’ are finishing an animal research project.  This involves looking for certain information using nonfiction texts.

Math

The class will be starting to work with some three-digit addition concepts. 

Reading

The last book bag to be sent home was Thursday.  We are starting to collect and return all book room books as well as any other books from school.  Please return any of these types of materials back to school. Thanks!!!

• Please return the Como Zoo permission slips and fee as soon as possible! 
• Second Grade Como Zoo Field Trip- May 19. Bus loads around 8:30am.

In writing, we have been working on adding tone to our writing.

Science

In science, we have been learning about animal groups and finishing an animal book report.

I continue to meet with groups about every day.  We are just finishing a unit focusing on summarizing.  Your child should be reading about every night!
